The present cases have been listed today before this court with the report of the appointed Commissioner. In the said report, it has been stated that the examination of PW 1 and PW2 had been completed. As the court witnesses as well as the defence witnesses are yet to be examined, registry is directed to place this matter before the appointed Commissioner for further examination of witnesses.

The appointed Commissioner is requested to expedite the examination of the witnesses and to submit a report after completion of examination of all the witnesses.

Heard Mr. H.S. Paonam, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. B.R. Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the applicant, Mr. A. Mohendro, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No. 1 and Mr. S. Inaocha Singh, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No. 3. None appeared for the respondent No. 2.

The present application had been filed with the prayer for issuing summons to the under noted persons for their appearance before the appointed Commissioner and to give evidences and produce documents in connection with the proceeding of El. Petn. No. 11 of 2022.

Mr. H.S. Paonam, learned senior counsel appearing for the applicant submitted that in order to decide the issue involved in the connected election petition, the examination of the under mentioned persons are highly required as court witnesses. The learned senior counsel, accordingly, prays for issuing summons through the registry for appearance of the said persons and for giving their statements as court witnesses in connection with El. Petn. No. 11 of 2022.

Mr. A. Mohendro, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No. 1 and Mr. S. Inaocha Meitei, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No. 3 endorsed the submission made by the counsel appearing for the applicant.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, registry is directed to issue summons to the following persons for their attendance as court witnesses and for giving their statements in connection with the proceeding of El.
