About VoxJuris
VoxJuris is a free library of Indian case law. We want any student, lawyer, journalist or citizen to be able to find a judgment, understand what it decided, and see how it connects to other cases, without a subscription.
What you can do here today
- Search reported Supreme Court of India judgments by words, party names or citation.
- Read the official headnote and the issue for consideration, then the full judgment with numbered paragraphs you can link to.
- See the bench and the author of each judgment, the Acts it considered, and the cases it relied on.
- Follow "cited by" links to later judgments in our database that rely on a case.
What is coming
We are adding earlier years of Supreme Court judgments step by step, then High Courts and tribunals. We also plan plain-language summaries and a section-by-section guide to the new criminal laws (BNS, BNSS and BSA). Anything written by us will be clearly labelled, and checked against the judgment text before it is published.
Who runs it
VoxJuris is an independent project. It is not affiliated with the Supreme Court of India, the Government of India, or any law publisher. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.
