29.05.2013 The writ petition stands as pro bono publico has been filed by Youth for Equality Movement Society challenges the Notification issued by Union Public Service Commission dated 05.3.2013. Vide # that Notification, candidates who are intending to take the examination for Civil Services for the year 2013 are invited to make applications. The petitioner Society makes a grievance that only 60 days time was granted to prepare for Preliminary Examination and the said period of 60 days is too short for a candidate to get prepared for the Preliminary Examination. Hence, the Notification should be quashed. In our opinion, the relief sought for in the writ petition could not be issued at the instance of the petitioner Society. We may notice that the Notification was issued on

05.3.2013 and the . petitioner has approached this Court after the Preliminary Certify that the digital and physical file have been compared and the digital data is as per the physical file and no page is missing. f Examination is over on

25.5.2013. Secondly, none of the candidates have approached this Court mai<ing any grievance that days is too short period for the preparation Preliminary Examination of Civil Services. i For the above reason, we do not find that any public interest i iovolves in the present writ petition. On the other hand, we are of the opinion that the Notificationwhich is questipned would be in the interest of a large number of candidates vyho have taken the examination pursuant to the said Notification. ; Hence, writ petition is devoid of any merit. Dismissed. MAY 29, 2013 pmc CHIEF 3 TIGE
