There is huge pendency on the file of the Family Court, even matters of 2017 are pending for adjudication. The Apex Court, in the case of High Court Bar Association, Allahabad Vs. The State of Uttar Pradesh in Crl.A.No.3589/2023 dated 29.02.2024, had observed that the High Court cannot casually direct the trial Court to dispose of the matter unless it warrants interference.
