Liberty is reserved in favour of respondent No.2 to file fresh complaint(s) which shall be considered by respondent No.1/Police in accordance with law. v. Liberty is also reserved in favour of respondent No.2 to submit grievances, representations, requests etc., before the Manasagangothri University, Mysore including Vice Chancellors, Grievance Committee etc., which shall consider the same and proceed further in accordance with law without any interruption, impediment or obstruction from the petitioner. vi. Mahadeva Murthy has been designated and nominated as the guide of respondent No.2 is placed on record. vii. All rival contentions and all aspects of the matter are kept open, no opinion is expressed on the same.
¶3The complainant alleges that the direction (iv) has been violated inasmuch as the complaint filed by the complainant has not been considered in accordance with law.
¶4A compliance affidavit has been filed which indicates that the complainant had filed a complaint on 07.07.2025 alleging offences under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and an acknowledgment was issued on the same day. An FIR was registered on 21.07.2025 on the basis of the complaint. And, the same was forwarded to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mysuru, for further action. The complainant was also informed of the same and was called upon to approach the concerned police station to obtain the copy of the FIR. It is stated that the complainant responded by stating that she is unable to come on the date fixed and she would obtain a legal opinion before collection of the FIR. Thereafter, a copy of the FIR was sent to the complainant by registered post.
¶5It is stated that after the registration of the FIR, a mahazar was conducted and statement of the witnesses were recorded.
¶6Notwithstanding the above, the complainant submits that the directions issued by the learned Single Judge have been violated inasmuch as the FIR is not in accordance with law. We are unable to accept that there is any willful disobedience of the orders passed by this Court. If the complainant is aggrieved by the recording of the FIR not covering all offences, the complainant is not precluded from availing its remedies, in accordance with law.
¶7The complaint is, accordingly, closed.
