Article 73: Extent of executive power of the Union

In plain words

The Union's executive power extends to the matters on which Parliament can make laws, and to rights and authority the Government of India has under treaties and agreements. In a State, it does not extend to matters on which the State can also legislate, unless the Constitution or a law of Parliament expressly provides.
