Heard Mr. T. Momo, learned counsel appearing for the applicant and Mr. W. Darakishwor, learned Sr. PCCG appearing for the respondent. The present misc. application has been filed for enlarging the present applicant/accused on interim bail for a period of 3 (three) weeks in connection with the Special Trial Case No. 26 of 2024 with reference to NCB Crime No. 02/NCB/Imp/2023 dated 03.03.2023 u/s 8(C) & 9A r/w S.21(c), 25A, 25 & 29 of the ND & PS Act, 1985 pending before the Ld. Special Court (ND & PS), Manipur for travelling from Imphal to 2739 Luhars Corner, Dariyapur Police Chowki Dariyapur, Ahmedabad, Gujarat to attend the tervi-vidhi (13th day death ceremony) of the applicant's father which is scheduled to be held on 26.06.2024. Vide order 13.06.2024, the learned counsel for the respondent seeks time till today to get instruction regarding the matter. During the course of hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent submitted that interim order may be granted to enable him to attend the tervi-vidhi (13th day death ceremony) of the applicant's father which is scheduled to be held on

26.06.2024 with a condition that the applicant/accused may be directed to report before the SP, Manipur Central Jail, Sajiwa after the required function and after LUCY GURU MAYU M by LUCY GURUMAYUM Date: 2024.06.14 +05'30' returned back. Also with a condition that the applicant/accused should not go anywhere else except the place mentioned in his application. In the circumstances, at the interim the applicant/accused be released on bail on his furnishing PR bond of Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rupees two lakh) only with 1

(one) surety (local Government Employee of the State of Manipur) of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Trial Court with condition that the applicant/accused shall surrender before the SP, Manipur Central Jail, Sajiwa on

28.06.2024 without fail. The applicant/accused is further directed to surrender his passport before the Trial Court at the time of furnishing the required bonds and further directed not to travel outside the country. Further, the applicant/accused is directed to inform the concern O.C of Dariyapur Police Chowki/Station, Admedabad, Gujarat upon reaching his placed of stay i.e 2739 Luhars Corner, Dariyapur Police Chowki Dariyapur, Ahmedabad, Gujarat mention in his application. The applicant/accused is further directed not to go anywhere else except the place where he has mentioned in his application. Further, the applicant/accused is directed not to tamper with the evidence or influence the witnesses. If any of the conditions is violated by the applicant/accused, the respondent are at liberty to approach this Court for modification/ cancellation of this interim order. Accordingly, the present misc. application is disposed of. Send an extract copy of this order to the Ld. Special Court (ND & PS) Manipur and SP, Manipur Central Jail, Sajiwa. Copy of this order be furnished to the learned counsel appearing for the parties.
