Judgment
ORDER The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to respondents 1 to 6 to maintain status quo in respect of the land comprised in Survey No. 286/2A, J.Krishnapuram Village, Sulur Taluk, Coimbatore District, pending disposal of the statutory appeal dated 21.07.2025 filed by the petitioner.
¶2The third respondent granted permission to the seventh respondent to establish a poultry farm. Aggrieved by the said permission, the petitioner has preferred a statutory appeal dated 21.07.2025 before the second respondent. If the petitioner was apprehensive of any prejudice pending disposal of the appeal, Page3 of 5 it was always open to him to file an interim application before the appellate authority seeking appropriate interim relief. Instead, the petitioner has directly approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.
¶3In the above circumstances, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's statutory appeal dated
21.07.2025, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties, as expeditiously as possible and, in any event, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the appeal has not already been disposed of.
¶4Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. 29-07-2026 Index: Yes/No ak Page4 of 5 To
