ORDER This petition has been filed direct the Respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner for conducting a survey of and erecting a fence around the property comprised in Survey No.109/13D, situated at Purangani Village, Panruti Taluk, Cuddalore District.
¶2The petitioner herein is the absolute owner of the property comprised in Survey No. 109/13D, situated at Purangani Village, Panruti Taluk, Cuddalore District, having acquired the same by virtue of a registered release deed dated
08.12.2025. While being so, respondents 4 to 6 attempted to interfere with the petitioner's lawful possession of the subject property. With a view to legally demarcate the boundaries, the petitioner submitted an application before the __________Page 3 of 5 Tahsildar along with the requisite fees to survey the land. Though the Tahsildar engaged surveyors to survey the disputed land, Respondents 4 to 6 objected to the surveyors surveying the petitioner's property.
¶3In view of the above, if the surveyor finds any difficulty at the hands of Respondents 4 to 6, the surveyor can very well seek police protection from the 2nd respondent. On receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent shall conduct an enquiry and pass an order to provide adequate police protection while surveying the petitioner's land, in accordance with law.
¶4Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 17-06-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order SMA __________Page 4 of 5 To
