ORDER Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government Counsel takes notice on behalf of the Respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.Durai Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) takes notice on behalf of the 3rd Respondent.

¶2With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

¶3The relief sought in this writ petition is to direct the Respondents 1 & 2 to survey and measure the Petitioner's land comprised in Survey No.1235/10B situated at Ernakuppam Village, Uthukottai Taluk, Thiruvallur District (hereinafter referred to as subject property) and fix boundaries of the same, by considering the Petitioner's Online Applications dated 27.01.2026 &

27.04.2026.

¶4Mr.S.Ramajayam, learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that Petitioner made two Online Applications bearing Challan Page3 of 5 Nos.2026/0123/01/000536 and 2026/0123/01/002769 dated 27.01.2026 &

27.04.2026 respectively, for surveying the subject property and paid the necessary fees for carrying out the survey. However, the Respondents 1 & 2 have not taken any steps for surveying the subject property. Hence, the Petitioner has filed this writ petition.

¶5The learned Government Counsel appearing for the Respondents 1 & 2 submitted that 2nd Respondent would consider the Petitioner's Online Applications, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. He further submitted that in case, police protection is required for surveying the subject property, 2nd Respondent may be permitted to request the 3rd Respondent.

¶6When the learned Government Counsel for the Respondents 1 & 2 made the above submission, Mr.Durai Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the 3rd Respondent submitted that if any request for police protection is made, adequate police protection would be granted.

¶7The submissions made by the learned Government Counsel for the Respondents 1 & 2 as well as the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the 3rd Respondent have been fairly conceded by the learned counsel for the Petitioner. Page4 of 5

¶8Considering the limited relief sought by the Petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd Respondent to consider the Petitioner's Online Applications dated 27.01.2026 & 27.04.2026 on merits and survey the subject property by measuring and fixing the boundaries of the same, after issuing notice to the Petitioner, newly impleaded 4th Respondent and any other interested parties on notice, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. It is open to the 2nd Respondent to request the 3rd Respondent for police protection.
