In tcrms of the scttlement, marriage betwecn the Petitioner No. 1 and Respondent No. 2/Cornplainant has been dissolved by a dccree of divorce bv mutual consent. As full and final settlemcnt of all the clairns of the Itespondent No. 2, the Petitioner No. t has to pay t25 lakhs W.P.(CRL) 1484/2011 Page 1 oJ'2 out of which {16.50 lakhs have already been paid to her and t8.50 lakhs have been paid today vide Pay Order No. 005305 dated Btr' November, 2011 drawn on IDIII Bank, Ashok Vihar, Delhi. She furlher states that in vicw of the settlernent between the patties, she does not want to pul'sue the abovernentioned IrIIt and the proceedings pursuant thereto. In view of the fact that the parties have amicably resolved thcir diffrrenccs of their own fi'ee will, volition and without any coercion and no uscful pulpose will be served in continuance of the procccdings, rathcr thc salne would create further acrimony between thern, it would be in the interest of justice to cluash the abovementioned IiIR and the proceedings pursuant thcreto. Consequently, F'IR No. 10412008 under Sections 498N406134 IPC registerecl at PS CAW Ccll, Nanak Pura, New Delhi and proceedings pursuant thercto are hereby quashed.
