¶1By way of this petition, the petitioner seeks to challenge the order dated 28.10.2017 passed by the Trial Court, whereby, interim maintenance was directed against the petitioner and in favour of the private respondent.

¶2The Court vide its first order dated 13.07.2018 has passed the following order: "Learned counsel for petitioner submits that respondent no.1 is also working and getting salary of ₹80,000/- per month. Interim maintenance of ₹20,000/- per month has been awarded to the respondent no.1 for maintenance of minor child, which is on higher side. Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no.2. On petitioner taking steps, notice be issued to the respondent no. 1 through ordinary process, This is a digitally signed order. registered AD post and courier service, returnable for 16th November, 2018. Till next date of hearing, operation of the interim order shall remain stayed subject to petitioner paying ₹10,000/- per month to the respondent no.1."

¶3The aforesaid order is being complied with by the petitioner. The matter is at the stage of evidence before the concerned Court.

¶4It be noted that the instant petition is pending before the concerned Court for about 9 years. Let the same be decided with due expedition not beyond six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

¶5None of the parties shall seek adjournment.

¶6All rights and contentions of the parties are left open.

¶7Till main matter is decided by the Trial Court, the petitioner shall be complying with the interim order. The same, however, shall be without prejudice to the rights and contentions, which otherwise, the parties are entitled in law to raise before the concerned Court.

¶8The petition stands disposed of.
