Case no.
BAIL APPLN. 2973/2026

Judgment

O R D E R %

20.08.2026

¶1This hearing has been done through hybrid mode.

¶2Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the FIR pertains to the year 2023 in which he was never named. That he has been in judicial custody for a period of more than 60 days and that he shall abide by all the conditions put forth by this court should the court decide to release him on bail.

¶3Per contra, learned APP for the State submits that the petitioner can be clearly seen in the concerned CCTV footage wherein he can be seen supplying spy glasses to the candidates and thereafter the answer sheet too.

¶4Let the CCTV footage be produced before the next date of hearing.

¶5Learned counsel for the petitioner now submits that his present application be decided today, further submitting that no purpose exists for playing the CCTV footage in Court. This is a digitally signed order. 6. Per contra, Learned APP for the State submits that the role of the petitioner is clearly borne out from the CCTV footage. It is further submitted that the petitioner, who was working as a Network Administrator at the examination centre, supplied spy glasses to the accused persons/candidates and facilitated them in cheating in the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination.

¶7Heard both the parties.

¶8There is no doubt that the petitioner was arrested in the year 2026 while the FIR was registered in the year 2023. However, the allegation against him that, while working as a Network Administrator at the examination centre, he actively facilitated the co-accused persons/candidates in cheating in the examination by supplying spy glasses and other material cannot be ignored.

¶9Keeping in view the role of the petitioner and the nature of the allegations involved, no ground for bail is made out. Accordingly, the present bail application is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, also stand(s) disposed of.

¶10A copy of this order be sent to the learned Trial Court for necessary information and compliance.

¶11The order be uploaded on the website forthwith. MADHU JAIN, J AUGUST 20, 2026/ys/PG This is a digitally signed order.
