¶1It is stated that the Settlement Agreement dated 07th August, 2026, arrived inter se the parties before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre (Samadhan),has been placed on record.

¶2It is urged that the appeal be disposed of in terms of the said settlement.

¶3Learned counsel for the appellant states that though the appellant is ready and willing to deposit an amount of Rs. 2,06,633/- by way of a demand draft, the Registry did not accept the same for want of permission from the Court.

¶4We direct the Registry to accept the said demand draft, as the appellant undertakes to deposit the same before this Court, on or before Monday, i.e., 24th August, 2026. This is a digitally signed order. 5. The request made by the learned counsel for the respondent to withdraw the entire amount, viz. Rs. 2,06,633/- plus the amount that was already deposited, viz. Rs. 18,43,367/- along with interest is permitted in view of the consent extended by learned counsel for the appellant in terms of the settlement agreement.
