JUDGMENT AND ORDER (ORAL)

¶1This is an application for impleadment of the Department of District Council Affairs through the Secretary, Government of Meghalaya, Shillong, as party respondent in the instant matter.

¶2The same is not objected to by the learned counsel for the respondents.

¶3Accordingly, for the reasons stated therein, and the no objection by the respondents, the State of Meghalaya, Department of District Council Affairs, represented by its Secretary, Government of Meghalaya, Shillong, East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya, is impleaded as party respondent No. 5.

¶4Registry to make necessary addition in the cause title in the main case.

¶5Misc. case is allowed and disposed of.
