This is an application for striking off the names of the writ petitioners Nos. 1, 2, 3, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19, 21, 22, 29, 30, 31, 32, 35, 41, 47, 48, 51, 53, 55, 56, 57, 58, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 70, 71, 73, 74, 75, 84, 88 and 90 from the array of parties in the writ petition No.239 of 2020. Ms. P. Biswakarma, learned Counsel appearing for the applicants submits that the applicants herein were persuaded by the collector to receive the amount of compensation and, therefore, the applicants having received the same are not willing to press this writ petition. The learned counsel submits that in view of above, the names of the aforesaid writ petitioners may be struck off. The learned Counsels appearing for the respondents have no objection. In view of the above, the prayer made in the application is allowed. The names of the above writ petitioners are struck off from the array of parties in WP (C) No. 239 of 2020. The learned Counsel for the applicant shall take steps to make necessary correction in the cause-title of the WP(C) No. 239 of 2020. Judge Meghalaya
