¶1Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the Standing Counsel.

¶2The present petition has been filed with the following prayer : "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite parties specially opposite party no.2 to renew the arm license of the petitioner forthwith, in the interest of justice."

¶3Considering the prayer limited to the issue of mandamus, the writ petition is disposed off directing the opposite party no.2 to consider and decide the application of the petitioner for renewal of the arm license expeditiously within a period of four months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
