By means of the present petition, the petitioner has sought issuance of direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties to conduct the fair and proper investigation in Case Crime No.0401/2022 under Section 302/201 I.P.C., Police Station-Akbarpur, District-Ambedkar Nagar. Learned A.G.A. for the State-respondents on the basis of instructions states that Final report has been filed in court on

14.10.2024. In view thereof, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that he does not want to press this petition on merits and wants to withdraw the liberty to the petitioner to file/raise objection to the final report within a period ten days' from today. Learned A.G.A. for the State-respondents has no objection to the prayer made by learned Counsel for the petitioner. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of. The petitioner may file/raise objection to the Final Report before the court concerned concerned within a period of ten days' from today and the court concerned is directed to decide the objection/protest application of the petitioner to the final report expeditiously, in accordance with law.
