Judgment

ORDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.523 of 2023 on the file of the 3rd respondent and entrust the same to the 4th respondent herein for proper investigation.

2.Though this petition has been filed seeking transfer of investigating, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a direction may be issued to the respondent to complete the trial within the time stipulated by this Court. The grievance of the petitioner is that the accused persons are freely roaming in the society and no steps have been taken by the respondent to secure the accused.

¶3Learned Government Advocate submitted that since the petitioner's son-in-law is in abroad, there is a delay in the investigation progress. Within a period of three months file report, investigation will be completed and final report will be filed.

¶4In view of the above submission, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner is aggrieved over the filing of the final report, he is at liberty to work out remedy through appropriate proceedings.
