Judgment
ORDER The present Civil Revision Petition has been filed for a direction to the Principal District Munsif Court, Vedasandhur to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.282 of 1999.
¶2The petitioners herein are the defendants in O.S.No.282 of 1999, which was earlier dismissed by the Principal District Munsif Court, Vedasandhur by a judgment and decree, dated 22.11.1999.
¶3Aggrieved by the same, the respondent (plaintiff in the above suit) filed A.S.No.135 of 2008 before the Principal Sub Court, Dindigul. The Principal Sub Court, Dindigul set aside the judgment and decree in O.S.No.282 of 1999 and remanded the case back to dispose of the suit within a period of three months by its judgment and decree, dated
25.10.2010 in A.S.No.135 of 2008. However, till date, the suit has not been disposed of.
¶4It appears that the respondent herein had filed C.R.P(MD)No. 1997 of 2019 and an order came to be passed on 06.02.2020, wherein, this Court directed the Trial Court to dispose of the suit within a period of four months from the date of receipt of the order. Despite the same, the suit has not been disposed of till date.
¶5Considering the above, the present Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of at the time of admission after dispensing with notice on the respondent by directing the Principal District Munsif Court, Vedasandhur to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.282 of 1999 within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The Principal District Munsif Court, Vedasandhur shall file compliance report before the Registry. No costs.
