ORDER This writ petition is filed for Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to forbear the illegal mining being carried by the 5th Respondent, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.06.2020.

¶2There is no appearance on the side of the petitioner, Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, the Learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, Mr.D.Srinivasaraghavan, the Learned counsel appearing for the 5th respondent and perused the material documents available on record.

¶3Pending writ petition, the official respondents have carried out spot inspection and submitted a report, dated 14.10.2020. The Tahsildar, Tirunelveli has conducted spot inspection and stated that there is no illegal mining at all. Moreover, license granted to some persons have already been expired. Therefore, as on date, no mining is carried out in the said land. ¶4Since permit has already been considered by the respondents nothing survives for adjudication.
