Heard Ms. N. Anju, learned counsel for the appellants/applicants and Mr. D. Panging, learned counsel for all the private respondents/opposite parties.

¶2Ms. Anju, learned counsel for the appellants/applicants submits that this interlocutory application is preferred for impeading the Union of India as respondent No. 9 in the connected writ appeal.

¶3Mr. Panging, learned counsel for all the private respondents/opposite parties submits that he has no objection in the event of impleading the Union of India as respondent No. 9 in the connected appeal.

¶4Having heard the submissions of learned counsel for both the parties, we have carefully gone through the petition as well as the documents placed on record.

¶5It appears that the Union of India is a necessary party in the connected appeal. Therefore, this court is inclined to implead the Union of India as respondent No. 9 in Page No.# 5/5 the connected appeal.

¶6In terms of above, this interlocutory application is allowed.

¶7Registry shall do the necessary corrections in the connected Writ Appeal No. 25/2024.
