¶2Mr. N. Ratan, learned Addl. Advocate General for the State has referred to judgment and order dated 13.11.2002 passed in WP(C) 981(AP)/2001 wherein direction was issued to the State to frame the recruitment regulation to regulate the service conditions of the Department of Tourism including the selection and appointment to the post of Director (Tourism) or equivalent post. It is submitted that by an order dated 27.06.2024 in WP(C) 428(AP)/2023, this Court had directed the registration of a contempt petition. The matter was listed before the Court on 28.06.2024 only after the contempt petition was registered, and on that date, a notice in the suo moto contempt petition was issued.

¶3The learned Addl. Advocate General for the State has produced a copy of Arunachal Pradesh State Gazette Extraordinary published on 13.09.2024 containing notification no. TOU(ESTT) 238/2002/240 dated 13.09.2024, thereby framing and notifying the Recruitment Rules for the posts(s) of Director (Tourism) Group 'A' Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) Recruitment Rules, 2024.

¶4On a query of the Court, the learned counsel for the petitioner, upon instruction, has submitted that on publication of the rules, the order of the Court has been complied with.

¶5In view of the said submission, this contempt petition stands closed on Page No.# 3/3 satisfaction.

¶6The copy of notification dated 13.09.2024 is made a part of record.
