Heard Mr. Suman Das, Assistant Manager of The New India Assurance Co. Ltd., the respondent no.3.

¶2The appellant, namely, Ms. Syeda Feroza Alam has appeared along with Mr. K. Sarma, learned counsel and he has admitted that after negotiated settlement, the parties have agreed for a total settlement amount of Rs.5,09,628/- (Rupees five lakh nine thousand six hundred twenty eight only) as full and final settlement of all the claims of the respondent against the order and award dated 24.07.2019, passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Sonitpur, Tezpur in MACT Case No.25/2018 (I).

¶2Out of total settlement amount, the Insurance has deposited by a sum of Rs.2,02,289/- (Rupees two lakh two thousand two hundred eighty nine only) before the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Sonitpur, Tezpur.

¶3Accordingly, the matter is settled on compromise in terms of the pre-settlement/compromise slip for the National Lok Adalat, which is made as a part of record. Page No.# 3/3

¶4Both the parties shall put their signature in the pre-settlement/compromise slip as token of acceptance for the settlement.

¶5The respondent shall deposit the balance amount of Rs.3,07,339/- (Rupees three lakh seven thousand three hundred thirty nine only) before the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Sonitpur, Tezpur within 30 (thirty) days from the date of the settlement order, failing which the amount shall carry interest @ 9% per annum till the date of deposit.

¶6On such deposit being made, the learned Tribunal shall disburse the said amount in favour of the appellant, namely, Ms. Syeda Feroza Alam, on satisfaction of her identity.

¶7The matter is disposed of in this Lok Adalat.
