19.12.2024 Heard Shri B Chetri, learned counsel for the applicant, who by means of this application has prayed for making alterations/changes so far as the descriptions of the respondent nos. 1, 2 and 4 are concerned. It is submitted on behalf of the applicant that when the writ petition was moved on 06.12.2024, it was detected that the name of the Department was mentioned as Social Welfare Department and not as the Women Child Development Department, a change which was effected in the meantime. Also heard Ms. A Talukdar, learned Government Advocate, Assam, who does not object to the said prayer. After considering the matter, the instant interlocutory application is allowed and the descriptions of the respondent nos.1, 2 and 4 are allowed to be corrected. Shri Chetri, learned counsel has accordingly directed to file an amended cause title within a period of a week and the writ petition is directed to be listed for motion immediately on the reopening.
