Heard Mr. N. Islam, learned counsel for the applicant. This Interlocutory Application has been filed seeking Revenue Shirestadar as a party respondent in the writ petition being WP(C) No. 2897 of 2024. Page No.# 2/2 It is submitted by the learned counsel for the applicant that the writ petition was filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to identify the land measuring 3 Bigha, 3 Katha, 13 lechas under Dag No. 872, Kherej Miyadi Patta No.73, situated at village Konwar Gaon under Mouza Dhakuakhana, Post Office Bahpara, P.S. Dhakuakhana in the district of Lakhimpur which is under the possession of the petitioner and further direction to mutate the name of the petitioner and/or alternatively to make an enquiry and pass necessary order. During the course of the proceeding it is appeared that the Revenue Shirestadar is a necessary party and the same should be arrayed as a party respondent. Accordingly, the present Interlocutory Application has been filed seeking impleadment of the Revenue Shirestadar as respondent No.5. The learned counsels representing the State respondent as well as the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Assam does not object to the prayer made. Accordingly, without issuing notice since there is no objection the Interlocutory Application stands allowed. Revenue Shirestadar, Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur, P.O. & P.S. Lakhimpur, District North Lakhimpur is ordered to be arrayed as a party respondent No.5 in WP(C) 2897 of 2024. The Interlocutory Application is accordingly allowed and disposed of.
