03.12.2024 Heard Mr. N Mahajan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. M Haloi, learned Special Public Prosecutor, CBI. 2) By this application filed under Section 483 BNSS, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Bicky Mazumdar, Son of Late Bikash Mazumdar, is praying for his bail in CBI Case No. RC 0172024E0028 arising out of Sivasagar Police Station Case No. 113/2024, registered under Sections 316(2)/318(1) BNS, 2023 and Sections 21(1)/21(2)/21(3) of the Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Act, 2019 with added Section 316(5) BNS, 2023, wherein, he was arrested on 05.09.2024 and is in custody since then. 3) During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Haloi, learned Special Public Prosecutor, CBI, on the instruction, submitted that after investigating the matter, CBI submitted charge-sheet in CBI Case No. RC 0172024E0028 arising out of Sivasagar Police Station Case No. 113/2024 vide charge-sheet No. 11/2024 dated-29.11.2024. 4) As such, the petitioner, named above, is directed to approach the appropriate forum for his regular bail in said CBI Case No. RC 0172024E0028 arising out of Sivasagar Police Station Case No. 113/2024. 5) With the above observation and direction, this bail application stands closed.
