Abdul Alim v. The State of Assam

ORDER 05-12-2024 Heard Mr. N Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State.

¶2By this application under Section 483 BNSS, the petitioner, namely, Abdul Alim, son of Abdul Kader, resident of village-Jakhalibeelar Pathar, P.S.-Goberdhana, District-Baksa is seeking bail in Chaparmukh GRPS Case No. 31/2024 registered under Section 21(b) of the Page No.# 2/2 NDPS Act, 1985.

¶3During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. B Sarma, learned APP, Assam, on instruction, has submitted that police after completion of the investigation of the case has already submitted Charge-Sheet in said Chaparmukh GRPS Case No. 31/2024 vide Charge Sheet No. 21/2024 dated 30.11.2024.

¶4In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the appropriate forum/authority for his regular bail in said Chaparmukh GRPS Case No. 31/2024.

¶5Accordingly, this bail application stands disposed of.
