Devanga Narayan Barooah v. The State of Assam

ORDER Date : 13.12.2024 Heard Mr. A.M. Bora, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. D.K. Baidya appearing for the petitioner and Ms. N. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the state of Assam.

¶2Ms. N. Das has submitted that the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Page No.# 2/2 Officer and co-operated with the police investigation.

¶3I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsels of both sides.

¶4Since the petitioner has co-operated with the Investigation Officer, he does not deserve to be detained in custody.

¶5Therefore, the interim bail granted by this Court on 24.10.2024 in favour of the petitioner is hereby made absolute.
