ORDER

The case is put up before the National Lok Adalat.

The Insurance Company is represented by its officials.

The claimant is represented by his wife-Shanti Sahu along with engaged counsel.

It is submitted that the total awarded amount was Rs. 25,69,300/- and out of which, the Insurance Company has already deposited an amount of Rs. 12,84,650/- (Rupees twelve lakhs eighty four thousand six hundred fifty) only, which has already been withdrawn by the claimant.

Both the parties are agreed to settle the matter on an amount of Rs. 28,84,650/- (Rupees twenty eight lakhs eighty four thousand six hundred fifty) Page No.# 3/3 only as full and final settlement and since an amount of Rs. 12,84,650/- (Rupees twelve lakhs eighty four thousand six hundred fifty) only has already been deposited by the Insurance Company, they are ready to pay the remaining amount of Rs. 16,00,000/- (Rupees sixteen lakhs) only towards the settlement amount.

Accordingly, as agreed to by both the parties, the appellant/New India Assurance Company Ltd. is hereby directed to deposit the remaining amount of Rs. 16,00,000/- (Rupees sixteen lakhs) only in the bank account of the claimant-Lakhanlal Shaw @ Sahu on being proper identification of the claimant's bank details, Aadhar Card, Pan Card etc. within 1 (one) month from today.

Registry to return the statutory deposited amount of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) only to the Insurance Company.

The appeal stands disposed of in terms above.
