Heard Mr. H. Ali, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. G. Sarma, learned standing counsel for the FT matters; Mr. P. Sarma, learned Addl. Senior Govt. Advocate for State respondent; Ms. M. Bedi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Ms. P. Baruah, learned standing counsel for the ECI.

¶2This interlocutory application has been filed for modification of the order dated 05.06.2024 passed by this Court in WP(C) 671/2024 to the extent that the applicant be permitted to appear before the Superintendent of Police

(B), Barpeta instead of Superintendent of Police (B), Bajali and for extension of time to appear for bail before the said authority.

¶3The learned standing counsel for the FT matter submits that he has received instruction that the case records are available with the Superintendent of Police (B), Barpeta.

¶4The petitioner also relies on a communication dated 27.05.2024 (Annexure-2) to project that the address of the petitioner falls under Barpeta Page No.# 3/3 district.

¶5Accordingly, the prayer made in this interlocutory application stands allowed.

¶6The directions contained in paragraph 7 to 10 of the order dated

05.06.2024 passed by this Court in WP(C) 671/2024 stands modified by substituting the Superintendent of Police (B), Bajali to Superintendent of Police

(B), Barpeta.

¶7Accordingly, this order shall be read together with order dated

05.06.2024 passed by this Court in WP(C) 671/2024.

¶8Resultantly, the time granted to the petitioner to appear before the Superintendent of Police (B), Barpeta in terms of the order dated 05.06.2024 passed by this Court in WP(C) 671/2024 stands extended till 14.10.2024.

¶9This interlocutory application stands disposed of.
