¶1Heard Mr. R. Phukan, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr. U. Sarma, learned Standing counsel for Secondary Education Department. Page No.# 2/2

¶2The petitioner, while serving as Post Graduate Teacher in Khora High School (H.S.S.), was placed under suspension, in connection with Bihpuria P.S. Case No. 181/2023 under Section 420/406/468/341 IPC, w.e.f. 13.10.2023 by an Order dated 13.10.2023 issued by the Inspector of Schools, Lakhimpur District Circle, North Lakhimpur. Thereafter, by an Order dated 31.05.2024 issued by the Inspector of Schools, Lakhimpur District Circle, North Lakhimpur, the petitioner was reinstated in service. Accordingly, the petitioner made a representation before the Inspector of Schools, Lakhimpur District Circle, North Lakhimpur on

02.08.2024 requesting for regularisation of his suspension period.

¶3The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered till date.

¶4Considering the short point involved, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh representation before the Respondent No.3/the Inspector of Schools, Lakhimpur District Circle, North Lakhimpur within a period of 1 (one) week from today. Thereafter, the Respondent No. 3, on receipt of the representation to be filed by the petitioner, shall consider and dispose of the same by a speaking order and in accordance with law within a period of 1 (one) month from the date of receipt of the said representation.

¶5With the above observations and directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
