16.08.2024. Heard Shri A Deka, learned counsel for the applicant, who by means of this application has prayed for correcting the description of the respondent no. 1. Page No.# 2/2 Shri Deka, learned counsel submitted that due to inadvertence, the State of Assam was said to be represented by Chief Secretary of Government of Assam with the addition of the expression "Department of School Education". It is accordingly contended that the expression "Department of School Education" was inserted due to inadvertence which is required to be omitted. Also heard Shri RR Gogoi, learned Standing Counsel Excise Department, Assam. Considering the above, the use of the words "Department of School Education" while describing the respondent no. 1 is held to be omitted. The learned counsel for the applicant is directed to file amended cause title in the connected WP(C)/3547/2024. The interlocutory application stands disposed of.
