ORDER

11.11.2024 Heard Shri H. A. Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioners, who has filed this application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 in connection with Barpeta Road PS Case No. 97/2024, U/s 341/325/326/34 IPC. Vide an order dated 30.07.2024, this Court while calling for the Case Diary had also passed an interim order which is in force till date. Shri K. K. Das, learned Addl. PP, Assam has however submitted that as per instructions received, the Charge-sheet being Charge-sheet No. 97/2024 dated

30.08.2024 has been filed after completion of the investigation. In view of the aforesaid development, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioners are required to appear before the learned Court, namely, CJM, Barpeta and pray for regular bail. Accordingly, the bail petition is disposed of by directing the petitioners to appear before the learned CJM, Barpeta within a period of 7 (seven) days from today. It is also directed that in the event, such appearance is made within the aforesaid period of 7 days and an application for bail is made, the same would be considered in accordance with law and till such considerations, the interim protection passed by this Court would continue. Petition stands disposed of.
