None appears on behalf of the petitioner on call.

¶2The instant contempt application has been filed alleging willful and deliberate violation to the order dated 29.11.2019 passed in WP(C) No.8737/2019 whereby as per the direction to the respondent authorities to place the matter before the next SLC for reconsideration of the claim of the petitioner for appointment under the Compassionate Appointment Scheme of the Government of Assam.

¶3It is seen that the petitioner has not been represented for the last two occasions. Apart from that, the respondents who have been arrayed as parties in the instant proceedings are not holding the posts. The petitioner has also not taken any steps in that regard.

¶4Taking into account the above and the scope under which the instant proceedings have been initiated, the instant contempt proceedings cannot be proceeded without impleading the Page No.# 3/3 present incumbent which the petitioner has failed to do so.

¶5Accordingly, the instant contempt proceedings stands dropped.
