Heard Mr S Alom, learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri Ramchanna @ Ranchhana, who has filed this application under Section 438 of the CrPC, with prayer for pre-arrest bail, apprehending arrest in connection with CID PS Case No. 09/2021, corresponding to GR Case No. 14561/2021, under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. Page No.# 2/2

¶2Heard Mr B B Gogoi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam.

¶3A business deal was stuck between the petitioner and the informant, but allegedly the petitioner after accepting Rs. 8 lacs from the informant disappeared without providing him the spices as agreed upon by both the petitioner and the informant.

¶4A coordinate Bench of this Court has granted interim bail to the petitioner vide order dated 10.06.2024. It is submitted that the petitioner has cooperated with the investigation.

¶5I have considered the submission that the petitioner is willing to cooperate with the remaining part of investigation.

¶6The petitioner has not violated any bail condition.

¶7Investigation has also progressed to a considerable extent.

¶8Considering all aspects, the interim pre-arrest bail order dated 10.06.2024, is hereby made absolute under the same terms and conditions.

¶9Anticipatory Bail Application stands disposed of.
