ORDER Date : 28.10.2024 Heard Mr. N.M. Hazarika, learned Counsel for the petitioner. Also, heard Mr. P. Sharma learned Standing Counsel, AFDC, and Mr. G. Bokolial, learned Government Advocate for the state respondent.

¶2By way of this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the writ petitioner is assailing an inter-alia tender notice dated 24/04/2023 issued by the Managing Director, Assam Fisheries Development Corporation Limited, by which the respondent no. 3 invited tender for leasing out of No. 66 Baraknadi Anua beel.

¶3Today, when the matter was called, it is submitted at the bar that the petitioner on 06/06/2023 filed an application before the Managing Director, Assam Fisheries Development Corporation Limited by enclosing the necessary documents which is still pending before the respondent authorities. It is further submitted at the bar that this writ petition can be disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities to dispose of the said application dated 06/06/2023 in accordance with law.

¶4A copy of the application dated 06/06/2023 as furnished by Mr. N.M. Hazarika, learned Counsel for the petitioner is kept on record and marked as "X".

¶5In view of the aforesaid endorsement, this Court deems appropriate in the interest of justice to dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the respondent no.3 to dispose of the application Page No.# 3/3 dated 06/06/2023 filed by the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of 3 (three) months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

¶6Ordered accordingly.

¶7The writ petition stands disposed of.
