In the course of deliberations, it is noted that the true copy of the written statement of the petitioner which is annexed as Annexure-C to the writ petition, contains certain hand written insertions, in para-2 thereof, which are not available in the original written statement available in the records of H FT(R) Case No. 104/2015, which has been called for and received from the Foreigners Tribunal No. 4th, Kamrup (R), Hajo. Upon the same being pointed out, Mr. B. U. Laskar, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for leave to withdraw the writ petition and to approach again, if so advised. Mr. G. Sarma, learned Standing Counsel for Home Department representing the respondent Nos. 3 and 5, Mr. A. I. Ali, learned Standing Counsel, Election Commission of India, for the respondent No.2, and Mr. P. Sarma, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent No.6, are present. The matter stands dismissed on withdrawal with liberty as prayed for. Interim order passed on 19.03.2018 stands vacated. Page No.# 3/3
