Since the appeal has already been admitted, the operation of the impugned judgment and order dated 11.07.2023 passed by the learned Member, MACT, No.2, Kamrup(M) Guwahati in MAC Case No.1799/2018 shall remain stayed subject to the condition that the appellant shall deposit 50% of the total awarded amount before the Registry of this Court within 6 (six) weeks from today. On such deposit being made by the appellant, the respondent/claimant shall be allowed to withdraw the same on proper verification and identification by their learned counsel. With the above observation, I.A. stands disposed of.
