ORDER The case is put up before the National Lok Adalat. The Insurance Company is represented by its officials. The claimant, is duly present along with his engaged counsel, Mr. K. Bhattacharjee. It is submitted that the earlier awarded amount was Rs. 1,06,716/- (Rupees one lakh six thousand seven hundred sixteen) only and the said amount has already been deposited by the Page No.# 3/3 Insurance Company. Both the parties are agreed to settle the matter on an additional amount of Rs. 1,25,000 /- (Rupees one lakh twenty-five thousand) only as full and final settlement and the Insurance Company is ready to pay the said additional amount towards the settlement amount. Accordingly, as agreed to by both the parties, the respondent/New India Assurance Company Ltd. is hereby directed to deposit the additional amount of Rs. 1,25,000 /- (Rupees one lakh twenty-five thousand) before the learned MACT, Tezpur within a period of 1 (one) month from today and the claimant will be at liberty to withdraw the same, along with the earlier deposited amount of Rs. 1,06,716/- (Rupees one lakh six thousand seven hundred sixteen) only, if not already withdrawn, on being proper verification and identification of the engaged counsel of the case.
