15.11.2011 This is a petition for quashing of FIR No.139/2003, PS Krishna Nagar under Sec. 406/34 IPC and Sec. 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. The petitioners and respondent No.2 are identified by their respective counsels. Respondent No.2 Lakharam Sharma states that he has compromised the matter with the petitioners out of his free will and states that he has no grievance against the petitioners. In view of the above, no useful purpose will be served by continuing with the FIR No.139/2003, PS Krishna under Sec. 406/34 IPC and Sec. of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. Consequently, FIR No.139/2003, PS Krishna Nagar under Sec. 406/34 IPC and Sec. 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 and all the proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed.
