¶1The present writ petition seeks mandamus directing the respondent to complete the investigation in case FIR no. 103/2022 under Sections 419/420/120B IPS and 66D IT Act, registered at PS Crime Branch.

¶2As per the prosecution version, 490 students including the petitioner were accused of using unfair means in a nationwide computer based exam conducted by SSC for recruitment of constables in Delhi Police.

¶3It has been submitted that charge-sheet has been filed but charges could not be framed even after 3 years due to incomplete investigation. This is a digitally signed order. 4. Learned ASC who appears for the State submits that out of 21 labs, the FSL report vis-à-vis 2 labs pertaining to 16 computer systems is still awaited from FSL and a priority letter in this regard has been sent.

¶5Since the investigation is pending since 2020, the petition is disposed of with direction that the Investigating Officer shall regularly follow up with the FSL for prioritizing the filing of the FSL result.

¶6A copy of this order be also sent to Director FSL with request to prioritize the FSL result qua the aforesaid 2 labs (16 computers) in a most expeditious manner. RAVINDER DUDEJA, J NOVEMBER 19, 2025 Gs/sk This is a digitally signed order.
