¶3Learned Counsel for the Respondents submit that he has no objection to the extension of the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator.
¶4It is well settled that the jurisdiction of the Court under Section 29A of the Act extends to enlarging the mandate of an arbitral tribunal even after expiry of its mandate, upon sufficient cause being shown.
¶5In the present case, this Court is satisfied that sufficient cause has been established.
¶6Accordingly, the mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator is extended for a further period of 6 months w.e.f. 30.06.2026. The period commencing from 30.06.2026 till the date of the present order is also regularised.
