C. HARI SHANKAR, J.

¶1This is a case in which there are concurrent findings of DME1 and RME2 to the effect that petitioner's haemoglobin count is below the minimum haemoglobin count permissible for recruitment to the post of Assistant Commandant in the Central Armed Police Forces.

¶2The petitioner's case appears to be that he is an outstanding performer in the Forces. That cannot, however, be a consideration which mitigates the effect of low haemoglobin count.

¶3Learned Counsel for the petitioner has also drawn our attention 1 Detailed Medical Examination 2 Review Medical Examination W.P.(C) 9358/2023 to Clauses 6(c) and (d) of the Guidelines for Review Medical Examination (RME) in Central Armed Police Forces & Assam Rifles.

¶4Insofar as Clause 6(c) is concerned, there is complete compliance with the said clause, as the decision to disqualify the petitioner is based on blood reports which have identified his haemoglobin count.

¶5As such, the requirement of proper investigation reports stands complied with.

¶6Insofar as Clause (d) is concerned, the requirement of obtaining opinions of concerned specialists and super specialists is only in the case of doubt.

¶7There is no doubt in this case. As such, this clause is inapplicable.

¶8There is no merit in the petition, which is accordingly dismissed.
