¶1By way of the present review petition, the respondent no.1/review petitioner seeks review of the order passed by this Court on 22nd July, 2026.

¶2It is submitted that the statement made on behalf of MCD was recorded in the aforesaid order to the extent that a show cause notice has been issued in respect of the property being N-8, Second & Third Floor, Double Storey, Malka Ganj, Delhi-110007 ('subject property') belonging to the review petitioner. However, no show cause notice has been issued in respect of property of the review petitioner. After disposal of the said writ petition, the officials of the respondent/MCD are harassing the review petitioner.

¶3A perusal of the notice dated 22nd July, 2026, handed over in Court, shows that it was in respect of properties bearing no.N-9 & N-10, Malkaganj, Delhi-110007 and not in respect of the petitioner's property, i.e., N-8, Malkaganj, Delhi-110007.

¶4Notice in the review petition was issued on 6th August, 2026.

¶5Ms. Shilpa Dewan, counsel for respondent/MCD confirms that the show cause notice has been issued in respect of properties bearing no.N-9 and N-10, and not in respect of the property bearing no.N-8, Malkaganj, Delhi-110007.

¶6In view thereof, the order dated 22nd July, 2026 is recalled and the review petition is disposed of. W.P.(C) 8145/2026 & CONT.CAS(C) 1063/2026

¶7A status report has been handed over in Court on behalf of respondent-MCD. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

7.1. The same is permitted to be taken on record.

7.2. A copy of the same has been handed over to counsel for the petitioner.

¶8In terms of the said status report, after issuance of a show cause notice dated 17th June, 2026 and following due process of law, a demolition order has been passed on 4th August, 2026 in respect of the unauthorized construction in the form of second and third Floor of the property no. N-10, Second & Third Floor, Double Storey, Malka Ganj, Delhi-110007 ('subject property').

¶9In view thereof, both the writ petitions are disposed of, while directing respondent-MCD to take action in accordance with law in an expeditious manner.

¶10SHO, P.S. Subzi Mandi shall provide necessary Police force to respondent/MCD.

¶11In the event, the petitioner has any further grievance, the petitioner would be at liberty to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
