¶1Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) seeking quashing of FIR No.359/2025 for the offences punishable under Section 209 of the BNS registered at police station Saket, Delhi and set aside the impugned order dated 02.05.2025 passed by learned Judicial Magistrate First Class (NI Act), Saket Courts, Delhi (learned Trial Court) in CC NI ACT/7611/2022 whereby the petitioner has been declared as a proclaimed offender under Section 82 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

¶2As per order dated 08.09.2025 passed by learned Trial Court, the case under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 (NI Act) has been This is a digitally signed order. compounded under Sections 147 of the NI Act and has been disposed of by the concerned Court.

¶3Accordingly, the impugned order declaring the petitioner as a proclaimed offender has lost its significance, accordingly, the same is set aside.
