ORDER 12-12-2024 Heard Mr. A Islam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B Sarma, learned Additional Page No.# 2/2 Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State.

¶2By this application under Section 482 BNSS, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Hafijur Rahman @ Hafizur Rahman, son of Ebrahim Ali @ Eabrahim Ali, resident of village-Binnachara Pt-IV, P.S.-Golakganj, District-Dhubri, apprehending his arrest, is seeking pre-arrest bail in Golakganj Police Station Case No. 482/2023 registered under Sections 366/376 IPC read with Section 4 of the POCSO Act, corresponding to G.R. No. 2017/2023.

¶3Earlier the Court by order dated 11.06.2024 granted interim bail to the petitioner in said Golakganj P.S. Case No. 482/2023.

¶4During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. B Sarma, learned APP, Assam, on instruction, has submitted that police after completion of the investigation of the case has already submitted Charge-Sheet in said Golakganj Police Station Case No. 482/2023 vide Charge Sheet No. 91/2024 dated 30.04.2024.

¶5In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the appropriate forum/authority for his regular bail in said Golakganj P.S. Case No. 482/2023 on or before

20.12.2024.

¶6Till then, i.e., 20.12.2024, the petitioner shall remain on interim bail granted to him earlier on 11.06.2024.

¶7Accordingly, this pre-arrest bail application stands disposed of.
