ORDER

09.12.2024 Heard learned counsel, Mr J U Ahmed, for the petitioners, 1) Jakir Hussain, S/o Late Abbas Ali, 2) Usman Ali, S/o Late Khurshed Ali, 3) Hanif Ali, S/o Late Ahmed Ali, and 4) Samsul Haque, S/o Taher Ali, who have filed this application under Section 482 CrPC, with prayer for pre-arrest bail as they are apprehending arrest in connection with Mayong PS Case No. 93/2024, under Sections 61(2)/318(4)/335/336(3)/339/340(2) of the BNS, 2023.

¶2Heard Mr R R Kaushik, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam.

¶3I have considered the submissions at the Bar.

¶4The allegation against the petitioners is that the petitioners by forging certain documents, solemnized the marriage between the informant's daughter and another person.

¶5It is submitted that the petitioners are in no way related to the informant's daughter Page No.# 3/3 as well as the person to whom, the informant's daughter got married.

¶6Interim bail has been granted to the petitioners and the petitioners have appeared before the IO and their statements have been recorded.

¶7I have also scrutinized the Case Diary.

¶8The petitioners have appeared before the IO. They have not violated any bail conditions. Their statements have been recorded.

¶9Considering all aspects, interim pre-arrest bail order dated 04.11.2024, is hereby made absolute.

¶10Anticipatory Bail Application stands disposed of.
