ORDER 06-12-2024 Heard Mr. R. Ali, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. K. K. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State.

¶2Apprehending his arrest, the petitioner, namely, Asadul Islam, son of Abdus Salam, resident of Village-Bowalguri, P.S.-Lahorighat, District-Morigaon has filed this application under Section 482 BNSS seeking pre-arrest bail in Lahorighat P.S. Case No. 595/2021, registered under Sections 120(B)/419/420/468/471/409/ 34 of the Page No.# 2/2 IPC read with Sections 66(C)/66(D) of IT Act.

¶3During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. K. K. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam on instruction, submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted the charge-sheet in said Lahorighat P.S. Case No. 595/2021 vide Charge-Sheet No. 192/2024 dated 30.10.2024.

¶4In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to approach the appropriate forum/authority for his regular bail in said Lahorighat P.S. Case No. 595/2021.

¶5With the above observation and direction, this pre-arrest bail application stands closed.
