ORDER Date : 04-12-2024 Heard Mr. MK Hussain, learned counsel for the petitioner, who submits that the petitioner was settled with the 47 No. Morakolong Meen Mahal, Morigaon district for 7 (seven) w.e.f. 01.04.2022 to 31.03.2029.

¶2The petitioner's counsel submits that though the petitioner executed an agreement dated 07.10.2022 with the AFDC for operating the fishery, the possession of the fishery was handed over to the petitioner only on 11.10.2022 instead of 01.04.2022.

¶3The petitioner's counsel submits that the petitioner accordingly submitted a representation dated 27.05.2024, praying for adjustment/remission of his revenue for 193 days, due to the late handing over of the fishery. He submits that the writ petition can be disposed of, if a direction is issued to the respondent No. 3 to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated

27.05.2024.

¶4Mr. P Sharma, learned counsel for the AFDC has no objection to the prayer made by the petitioner's counsel.

¶5In view of the consent of the parties, the respondent No. 3 is directed to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 27.05.2024, within a Page No.# 3/3 period of 1 (one) month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner thereafter.

¶6The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
